- Recovering research- scientist. I'm an avid outdoorsman, and have been for more than half a century. Love hunting and fishing. These activities are great excuses to go camping, hiking, and nature- viewing. Photography enables me to share some of the beauty and wonder I encounter in life's journey. Genealogy and family history studies have always interested me and, in recent years, have become a rewarding avocation.
